Reviews:
* If you're looking for a vehicle that is as versatile as a small SUV but looks, drives and feels more like a sensible luxury sedan, the 2014 Audi Allroad dominates a very small field of wagon offerings. Source: KBB.com
* High-quality cabin; light-duty off-road ability; sporty handling; excellent government crash-test scores. Source: Edmunds
* When creating a vehicle as versatile as the 2014 Audi allroad, the designers considered its extensive capabilities. Its raised suspension offers 7.1 inches of ground clearance to help you tackle the wilderness, and the stainless steel front and rear skid plates are built to take a beating. The available adaptive xenon plus headlights add a unique look to the vehicle while helping improve your ability to see in the distance, not to mention the front and rear fog lamps and headlight washing system. Finally, the 2014 allroad offers a variety of colors to maximize your idea of rugged. While the exterior of the allroad is all outdoors, it is luxurious and comfortable inside with an ample amount of cargo space. The rear seat is also equipped with a 60/40 split to allow even more space when traveling with fewer people. The interior of this ride is all Audi; you will comfortably sink into the supple leather seating surfaces, softening every bump encountered through its all-terrain build. With each twist and turn, the support from the available sport seats and the feel through the multifunction steering wheel is appreciated. The expansive panoramic sunroof bathes the cabin in natural light, bringing you closer to the outside. Whether the road is paved or unpaved, the allroad is equipped to take it on. To produce dynamic acceleration, the 2.0L TFSI engine's power flows through an eight-speed transmission with optimally spread gear ratios and a tiptronic mode for manual control. Every allroad also comes with dual exhaust outlets, cruise control, garage door Homelink, eight-way power seating for driver and front passenger as well as four-way power lumbar support for driver. A suite of available technologies makes the allroad a true champion of progress. Audi connect with Google Earth imagery and Wi-Fi connectivity allows for up to eight passenger devices and multiple ways to stay connected. Ten speakers, single CD player, mp3 playback capability and iPod integration also make this journey an aural delight while cushioning all passengers with safety in airbags and an anti-lock braking system. Handsome car, comfortable seats highway cruiser, Great mileage. Hard to get in and out of without hitting head or shoulder on doorframe. Always get back of legs dirty getting out of car - body trim on door sill sticks out too much. Weird gear shifter but easy enough to figure out. Cup holders in the worst possible spot - under buttons - always scrape fingers getting cup out of holder. Radio volume button at first seems to be in a great position on the console but it is too easy to hit with pocketbook and other things - ultimately a poor place for the control. Radio - change the station and the display changes and then goes back to display the previous station for about 10-15 seconds, why would it do that?? MMI (information) control buttons and knob are between the gear shifter and the cupholders - one spill and the MMI controller is gone and not covered by warranty (even the dealer warned us to be careful). A strange click-click sound from under the car every time the car accelerated the first time after being turned on - dealer said it was the anti-lock brakes. 20 years of driving with anti-lock brakes never got that sound, maybe it was the new quattro system. Ultimately, not the design we were looking for and sold it.

A very well designed, comfortable vehicle, with sleek body, that is both comfortable and yet having a very business demeanor. Driven conservatively it's silky smooth through the gears. Attack the corners and the quick steering will rival an 3M. (I've owned two) It has every conceivable feature that can be found in a top flight luxury car including MMI, Bang & Olufsen w/26GB Hard Drive, Memory Settings, Panoramic Glass Roof, Power Rear Deck Lid, Keyless Ignition, Eight Speed Automatic Transmission, Back up Camera w/Sensors, GPS, Paddle Shifters, 8 way Power/Adj. Bolster/Adjustable Thigh Support Sport Seats. In short, one amazing sport wagon. You'll never regret owning one....

...but the drive will make me want to keep it. Bought the 2014 Allroad from the Dealership pre-owned certified with maintenance package and currently one of the best decisions I have made in many years. Switching from Land Rovers/Range Rovers to Audi after a 20 year relationship I immediately noticed the quality, craftmanship, fuel economy and reliability of the Allroad. Back seat legroom space is a little tight (like the A4) for adults but when 90 percent of the driving only the front seats are used, who cares? The acceleration is awesome and the panoramic sunroof feature is top notch. I really appreciate this vehicle for its looks and simplicity.
